This is one of China’s most famous leaf teas. It is grown in the mountains around Hangzhou, a region known for its exceptional teas, high rainfall and frequent mists. First produced in the 1800s, it is still only gathered for a few weeks in the early spring when the buds are at their most delicate, and processed by hand. It's a bright and fresh green tea, with intriguing complexity and hints of peach.
