Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 40 minutes.
Uncover and simmer over a low heat for 2-3 minutes more to cook off the excess liquid.
Remove the teabags, stir, and let cool.
Spoon into airtight containers, such as glass jars with lids. Keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
