As part of our 2016 Short Story Competition, Dragonfly Tea recently partnered with novelist and writing mentor Miranda Glover, to host two very special short story writing workshops.
Both aspiring and more experienced writers in London and Bristol attended the 3-hour sessions, to develop their writing skills and learn more about the art of short story writing. Accompanied by plenty of tea and biscuits, guests had the chance to hear real life experience, get practical tips, and to try out new techniques and discuss their ideas with fellow writers.
“Both workshops gave our writers the chance to meet with like-minded people - to share their ideas and develop their writing techniques in a relaxed and welcoming setting. We were so happy to see such warmth and enthusiasm, and hope that everyone learnt some helpful new skills and are inspired to enter our competition!” Georgia Ginsberg, Dragonfly Tea
