What personal information will be collected by Dragonfly Tea?
Stories must be submitted by an adult (parent / guardian or the child’s teacher who has obtained consent from the child’s parent or guardian). The submitter will supply details of the entrant’s name, age and school. The submitter must also supply their name, contact email address and contact phone number. The submitter must tick the consent box to agree to their details and the details of the entrant to be processed by Dragonfly Tea for the purposes of the competition.
Competition finalists will be asked to provide their postal address, for the purposes of sending invitations to the Dragonfly Story Awards Ceremony at the Henley Literary Festival.
How will Dragonfly Tea use data collected?
All data will be collected for competition administration purposes. Dragonfly Tea will contact entrants with competition information and updates. Dragonfly Tea will not send entrants marketing newsletters or information related to marketing.
Dragonfly will only hold entrant’s data for one year after the competition has ended. After this time, all stories and entrant’s details will be removed from Dragonfly Tea systems.
Will Dragonfly Tea share entrant’s data with anyone else?
Dragonfly Tea will not share entrant’s data with anyone else. All stories will be submitted to the judging panel anonymously and tickets to the awards ceremony will be posted to finalists by Dragonfly Tea.
How can I see information you have about me?
If entrants or submitters would like to see details of the information held by Dragonfly Tea, they can contact Dragonfly Tea and ask to edit or remove data.
