This deliciously savoury tea blends the unique toasted nuttiness of traditional Genmaicha, with the rich green umami notes of Matcha. Genmaicha is hugely popular in Japan, distinctively combining smooth green tea with roasted brown rice kernels.
Matcha has an even more illustrious pedigree. Central to the Tea Ceremony and favoured by monks as part of their meditation practice, high–grade Sencha tea leaves are carefully milled to give a bright jade green powder.
