Children’s Story Competition 2018 Winners Announced!

After an exciting few months here at Dragonfly we are thrilled to announce the winners of the 2018 Children’s Story Competition!

This year we received a huge number of stories based on our theme The Wild Garden. Four hundred entries were whittled down to just six shortlisted stories in each age category (5-7, 8-11 and 12-15) and our illustrious judges Baroness Floella Benjamin and Hugless Douglass creator David Melling took on the hard task of choosing the winners and runners up.

Our talented finalists and their families were invited to a very special awards ceremony at the Henley Literary Festival, where Dragonfly’s Georgia Ginsberg and David Melling took to the stage to reveal this year’s winners:

We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who entered a story this year and huge congratulations to our finalists and winners of the 2018 competition!

If you would like to read this year’s shortlisted entries, please email us at hello@dragonflytea.com and we would be delighted to send you one of beautiful short story booklets.
